LOUDONVILLE, NY – After hosting their own tournament at the UHY Center this past weekend, Siena Volleyball returns to Loudonville as the Saints will take on the Binghamton Bearcats on Wednesday evening at 6 p.m.
Siena (0-9) comes off a weekend at home in The Crowne Plaza Albany – The Desmond Siena Invitational. The Saints had Saint Francis, Delaware State, and Central Connecticut compete in the tournament, as the Saints fell in all three matches. Freshman
Sara Wagner earned All-Tournament honors, as she averaged just over 10 kills per match.
Wagner was impressive, topping out and collecting a match-high 17 kills and falling short of her first career double-double with nine digs. Senior
Abby Huffman also played big up front, knocking down 14 kills, hitting a team-high .545, and getting a hand in three blocks. Freshman
Claire Isaksen found her stride with a new collegiate career-high 45 assists, while junior
Gracie Halley scored 22 digs, just one off her career-high of 23 she set as a freshman in 2019.
The Bearcats (3-6) are coming off a weekend tournament at Providence in which the team won two of three matches, including 3-0 sweeps over Fairleigh Dickinson and St. Peters. Offensively, Stefana Stan put together a strong tournament, contributing 39 kills. Against St. Peters, she had a .313 hitting percentage, and had nine digs. The sophomore is third on the team in digs with 73. Kiara Adams also had a strong weekend, handing out 96 assists. The Peekskill native had double-figure digs in all three matches, including a 16-dig effort against Providence.

Fans wishing to attend any Siena Athletics games held on campus are required to adhere to the Siena Athletics Spectator Policy. All spectators are required to complete the Siena Athletics Spectator Screening Form at sienasaints.com/spectatorregistration, and receive clearance to attend, prior to their arrival on campus. All spectators must be vaccinated to be able to attend, and are required to bring proof of vaccination with them to campus. Unvaccinated children 12 and under must remain masked at all times. Spectators are requested to enter campus via Route 9 through the College's main gate on Loudon Road and check in at the Welcome Booth. All forms of tailgating are also currently prohibited at this time. This policy is guided by the alert level established by Siena College's COVID-19 Operations Team and is subject to change based on current conditions. Siena College and the athletic department will continue to monitor developments and alert spectators of any adjustments made to this policy.
