CANTON, MA – Siena Women's Golf took the course at the Blue Hill Country Club for the final round of the Boston College Intercollegiate Tuesday.
The Saints compiled a team-best +34, 322 in the final round to finish the event in 15
th place with +121, 985. Yale scored +20, 884 to win the team title, while the Bulldogs' Ami Gianchandani shot E, 216 to capture the individual title. MAAC counterparts Quinnipiac (6
th), UAlbany (9
th), Monmouth (10
th), and Fairfield (14
th) also took part, with Fairfield's Grace Kryscio notably shooting a hole-in-one on the seventh hole in the final round.
Freshman
Manoela Barcellos shot +6, 78 in the final go-around to lead the team with 241 on the week and finish in a tie for 52
nd place. Juniors
Emily Nash and
Isabella Diaz followed behind, shooting 79 and 82 on the day, respectively to finish in 61
st and a tie for 66
th place. Sophomore
Margot Osterman shot 255 on the par-72, 6,137-yard championship course to finish in a split for 76
th, while freshman
Jillian Barend finished a stroke behind at 256 to place 78
th.
Siena will continue its Fall 2021 campaign with its third straight weekend of action at the Hartford Hawks Invitational on September 25-26 in Bloomfield, Connecticut.
