LOUDONVILLE, NY – The Siena Volleyball team looks to make it two wins in a row on Sunday afternoon, as the Saints will host the Manhattan Jaspers at UHY Center. Opening serve for the MAAC matchup will start things up at 1 p.m.

Siena (1-13, 1-2) comes off of their first win of the season on Saturday afternoon, as the Saints defeated the Iona Gaels by a final score of 3-2 at the UHY Center. Senior
Maddy Dunigan had one of her best showings of the season, putting up 15 kills and four assisted blocks. The match would be Siena's third five-set matchup in their last five matches.

Dunigan's 15 kills are a new season-high, as she was one of four Saints with double-digit kills. Freshman
Olga Sawinska added 12 kills, while
Emily Wunder and
Greta Stjade each finished with 10 kills. Stjade also chipped in 12 digs for her second double-double of the season. Junior
Gracie Halley led the defensive effort with 17 digs, while Wunder added five assisted blocks. Running the offense to victory was sophomore
Meghan Johnsson, as she finished with 45 total assists.

The Jaspers (0-6, 0-2) have struggled early on, dropping their last two MAAC matches to Iona and Marist last weekend by scores of 3-0. Manhattan has yet to win a set this season, falling 3-0 in all of their matches up to this point. Graduate student Erin Hoener leads the way offensively for the Jaspers with 31 total kills on the season, followed close by Julia Menocal with 29. Ashley Chan has taken over the libero duties, leading the way with 4.5 digs per set.

Fans wishing to attend any Siena Athletics games held on campus are required to adhere to the Siena Athletics Spectator Policy. All spectators are required to complete the Siena Athletics Spectator Screening Form at sienasaints.com/spectatorregistration, and receive clearance to attend, prior to their arrival on campus. All spectators must be vaccinated to be able to attend, and are required to bring proof of vaccination with them to campus. Unvaccinated children 12 and under must remain masked at all times. Spectators are requested to enter campus via Route 9 through the College's main gate on Loudon Road and check in at the Welcome Booth. All forms of tailgating are also currently prohibited at this time. This policy is guided by the alert level established by Siena College's COVID-19 Operations Team and is subject to change based on current conditions. Siena College and the athletic department will continue to monitor developments and alert spectators of any adjustments made to this policy.
