WALLINGFORD, CT – Siena Women's Golf took the course at The Farms Country Club in Wallingford, Connecticut to begin its final event of the Fall 2022 season on Monday.
Through 36 holes of action at the Quinnipiac Classic, the Saints (324-319-643) sit in sixth place among the 11-team field. Sacred Heart (609) leads all competitors, while MAAC rivals Quinnipiac (second), Hartford (seventh), and Fairfield (ninth) are also participating.
Sophomore Manoela Barcellos carded rounds of +7, 79 and +8, 80 on the par-72 course to end day one tied for 20th at +15, 159. Sophomore Jillian Barend (82-80) and senior Emily Nash (80-82) each carded +18, 162 to split for 32nd, while freshman Mackenzie Whitney (86-77) finished the day with +19. 163 to knot for 36th. Siena's competition team was rounded out by junior Margot Osterman (83-98), who ended the day with +37, 181 in 61st place.
Siena will end fall action in the Constitution State on Tuesday, October 11, with tee times beginning at 8:30 AM
