Mackenzie Rodrigues netted the equalizer just 2:30 into the second half and Anna Barkey headed in Karagh Tait's corner in the 78
th minute for Rider (8-7-2, 5-5), which earned a home postseason match as the Broncs will be the No. 4 seed and host fifth-seeded Canisius in the MAAC Quarterfinals Sunday.
Siena (2-11-5, 1-6-3) came out firing in search of ending their 2022 season on a winning streak. The Saints amassed five shots over an active first 12 minutes, and cashed in early following a wild sequence.
Cate Flanagan was denied point blank on a break into the box, and
Annie Bagnall tracked down the long rebound out wide right. Bagnall sent in a quick curving shot which the keeper leaped to deflect, but Keohane was camped out by the far post to knock in the opening strike just 6:09 into the contest.
Siena held an 18-16 advantage in shots, matching a season-high in targets while registering a season-high 10 shots on goal. But Rider keeper Ellie Sciancalepore was up for the test as she registered nine saves.
