The Siena Saints get set for the middle game of a three-game road trip on Saturday afternoon, as the Green and Gold will have a rematch with top-seeded Fairfield Stags at Webster Bank Arena in Bridgeport beginning at approximately 3:30 p.m. The game will be the second game of a double header in conjunction with the Fairfield men's team, starting around 30 minutes after the conclusion of the first contest.

Margo Peterson sank a new season-high 24 points and had a new career-high five steals as the Siena Saints fell in their opening game of a three-game road trip to the Saint Peter's Peacocks by a final score of 70-59 Thursday night in Jersey City.
Saint Peter's saw Kendrea Williams score a team-high 19 points, while Kassondra Brown scored a double-double with 11 points and 11 rebounds. Four Peacocks finished in double digit scoring. Kourtney Crane and Sky Castro each grabbed five rebounds. Saint Peter's shot 43.4 percent from the field for the game.
Backing up Peterson's performance was a 12-point, eight rebound night from fifth-year
Selena Philoxy. Freshman
Valencia Fontenelle-Posson scored 10 points, while fifth-year
Rayshel Brown added in eight points and eight rebounds.
Siena and Fairfield meet for the 81st time, with the Stags holding a 48-32 advantage in the series history. Before the Saints win on Jan. 22, Fairfield had eight wins in a row, as the last win for the Saints prior came back in 2017-18. As a head coach,
Jim Jabir is 6-0 all-time against the Stags. He owns a 4-0 record at the helm of the Saints, including this year's triumph at the UHY Center.
The last time the two teams met was last season on Jan. 22, as the Saints secured their fifth straight win in a span of 12 just days – and their biggest victory yet throughout the streak – knocking off first-place Fairfield 69-56 at the UHY Center.

Selena Philoxy posted a dominant double-double with a career-high 20 points to go along with 12 rebounds and six assists in an eye-opening performance for Siena (5-10, 5-2), which led for 38:19 and by as many as 16 points in handing MAAC frontrunner Fairfield (10-6, 7-1) its first league loss. The Stags had entered play winners of seven straight, their final five of which had come by an average margin of 20.6 points.
MAAC Preseason Player of the Year and the conference's leading scorer Lou Lopez-Senechal scored a game-high 23 points for Fairfield, which entered that game ranked 24th nationally this week in the CollegeInsider.com Mid-Major Top-25 Poll. Reserve Janelle Brown stuffed the stat sheet, adding 14 points, six rebounds, five steals, and four assists for the Stags, who shot just 37% from the field including only 6-20 from three.
Margo Peterson contributed 16 points on the strength of five threes for Saints, which shot a season-best 11-22 from beyond the arc.
Anja Knoflach added 12 points, and
Rayshel Brown rounded out four double figure scorers with 10 points and a career-best seven assists for Siena who dished out a season-high 20 as a team.
Fairfield (16-6, 13-1) picked up their sixth-straight win in their best defensive effort of the season, holding the Iona Gaels to a season-low 29 points and a 23 percent shooting mark. Fairfield limited the Gaels to single digits in all four quarters and outscored the home side 14-5 in the second quarter.
Sam Lewis and Rachel Hakes led the offensive punch for the Stags as both graduate students connected on three 3-pointers with Hakes setting a new career-high. The point guard has found her shooting touch in the last four games, shooting 57 percent (8-for-14) from long range while averaging 10.5 points during that span. Fairfield's leading scorer Lou Lopez-Senechal also returned to the starting lineup after missing the game against Canisius due to an injury. The senior posted 11 points while going 4-for-11 from the field and contributing two assists.
