Women’s Golf Improves to End Sacred Heart Spring Break Invite

Saints Moved Up Two Spots to Conclude Weekend

DAYTONA, FL – Siena Women's Golf showed a seven stroke improvement to conclude weekend action at the Sacred Heart Spring Break Invite in Daytona Beach, Florida on Saturday. The Saints followed up an opening-round team mark of +58, 346 with a round of +51, 339 to finish 12th in the 14-team field at the LPGA International Course.
 
Freshman Manoela Barcellos capped off her best performance of the year thus far, shooting a round of +4, 76 to finish tied for 20th on the weekend. Classmate Jillian Barend recorded a pair of birdies to card +10, 82 in the final round and finish in a tie for 50th, while junior Emily Nash went +19, 91 to split for 67th. The team's five-person competition squad was rounded out by senior Lena Kaufman (+21, 93) and sophomore Margot Osterman (+18, 90), who each finished split for 83rd place individually.
 
Siena will have three weeks off before returning to action at the Hartford/Wintonberry Hills Invitational in Connecticut April 2-3.
