The Siena Men's Tennis team fell in their final match of the weekend as they were topped in non-conference action by the St. Bonaventure Bonnies by a final score of 4-3.
The match came down to the final court of play as the Bonnies had jumped ahead, taking the doubles point. In singles, the Saints were strong in the middle of the lineup with wins from
Tomas del Olmo,
Darek Kuczynski, and
Mathis Tremblay. Tremblay and del Olmo both won in straight games, while Kuczynski took a hard fought 6-2, 5-7, 10-3 win.
However, the Bonnies and Saints battled it out, and with the score tied at 3-3, St. Bonaventure came out on top in #6 singles for the win.
The Saints return to action next Sunday, Mar. 13 at 3 p.m. when they hit the road to take on the Fordham Rams.
