Siena Women's Golf freshman Manoela Barcellos shot a round of 79 Saturday to finish tied for fifth individually in the opening day of action at the Hartford/Gillette Ridge Invitational. Through 18 holes of play, the Saints sit in fifth place out of 10 teams, carding a team round of 336 in Bloomfield, Connecticut on Friday.
 
Alongside Barcellos, classmate Jillian Barend carded a round of 84 to tie for 16^th, while sophomore Margot Osterman shot 85 to finish in a knot for 21^st. Senior Lena Kaufman carded a round of 88 to split for 29^th, while junior Emily Nash shot 93 to tie for 37^th.
 
Siena concludes weekend action in its final tune-up before heading to the 2022 MAAC Golf Championships with one final round of play in Connecticut on Saturday, April 16 at 9 AM.
