BLOOMFIELD, CT – Siena Women's Golf improved six strokes to round out weekend action at the Hartford/Gillette Ridge Invitational Saturday. The Saints finished with a two-round total of 666, including 330 on day two at the Gillette Ridge Country Club in Bloomfield, Connecticut.
Pennsylvania (631) took the team title, while MAAC members Fairfield (683), UAlbany (656), Quinnipiac (663), and Hartford (668) also participated.
Freshman
Manoela Barcellos led the way by tying for 13
th individually with a two-round total of 163, including a round of 84 on Saturday. Senior
Lena Kaufman improved nine strokes for a round of 79, propelling her into a split for 19
th with a total of 167. Freshman
Jillian Barend (84-84) and sophomore
Margot Osterman (85-83) each tied for 23
rd with a two-round total 168. Junior
Emily Nash rounded out the Saints' competition team with a two-round total of 181 to finish in a split for 40
th place.
Siena will next gear up for the 2022 MAAC Men's & Women's Golf Championships, which are set for April 22-24 at Disney's Magnolia Golf Course in Lake Buena Vista, Florida.
