BLOOMFIELD, CT – Siena Women's Golf kicked off its second event of the Spring 2022 season at the Hartford/Wintonbury Hills Invitational at the Wintonbury Hills Golf Course in Bloomfield, Connecticut Saturday.
Through one round of play, the Saints sit in seventh place after carding a round of 331. MAAC rival Monmouth (303) leads the field halfway through the weekend.
Freshman
Manoela Barcellos shot a round of +6, 78 to finish in a tie for 15
th individually and lead the team, while classmate
Jillian Barend carded +11, 83 to land in a knot for 30
th. Junior
Emily Nash shot +12, 84 and sits in a tie for 36
th place, while senior
Lena Kaufman shot 86 to tie for 43
rd. Sophomore
Margot Osterman rounded out the Saints' five-person competition team by shooting 93 to finish 50
th.
Siena will conclude 36-hole competition Sunday morning.
