LOUDONVILLE, NY – The Siena Men's Tennis team has hit their stride, opening up a 3-0 start in MAAC play for the first time since 199-94, tying the program's best MAAC start. They did so by defeating the Rider Broncs on Tuesday afternoon by a final score of 7-0 from Central Park in Schenectady.

The win marks the fifth straight win for the Saints, also giving them wins in 10 of their last 12 dual matches.

The Saints started the day strong, sweeping through doubles play with all three courts coming up with a victory. Much of the same came through in singles play, as all six courts swept the Broncs in straight sets for the win. The doubles pairing of
Agustin Suarez and
Matt Nardone set the tone early with a 6-0 victory to open the match, with
Jose Pablo Davila winning the clinching point 6-1, 6-0 at #4 singles.

The Saints return to action this Saturday, Apr. 9 at 12 p.m. when they play host to Fairfield at Central Park in Schenectady.
