ALBANY, NY – Siena Women's Golf took the course inside the Capital Region for the third straight day on Sunday, taking part in the annual Crosstown Challenge against MAAC foe UAlbany at Wolfert's Roost Country Club. The Great Danes took a 288-323 win over the Saints in 18 holes of action.
Siena was led by freshman Mackenzie Whitney, who shot a +6, 78. Sophomores Jillian Barend and Manoela Barcellos followed, with the pair carding scores of +8, 80 and +9, 81, respectively. Senior Isabella Diaz went for +12, 84, while senior Emily Nash shot +14, 86. UAlbany's Mariel Tee shot a round of -5, 67 to lead all individuals.
The Saints will continue fall action next weekend at the Boston College Intercollegiate in Canton, Massachusetts.
