Siena Women's Golf improved by one stroke Tuesday to close 54-hole action at the Boston College Intercollegiate. The Saints (331-331-330-992) finished 15th at the Blue Hill Country Club in Canton, Massachusetts.
Sophomore Jillian Barend (82-83-80) improved by two strokes in the final round to finish with a three-round total of +29, 245 and tie for 63rd place. Senior Isabella Diaz (81-80-86) went for +30, 247 on the weekend to knot for 67th, while freshman Mackenzie Whitney (82-83-83) recorded her first collegiate eagle to finish with +32, 248 and finish 70th.
Sophomore Manoela Barcellos (86-85-81) displayed her best round on the par-72, 6,137-yard course on Tuesday, finishing in a tie for 73rd place with +36, 252. Junior Margot Osterman (95-88-80) completed her first action of the year in 88th place with +57, 273.
Siena's next action of the fall season will come October 3-4 at the Hartford Hawks Invitational in Bloomfield, Connecticut.
