The Saints cruised to victory to begin the season Thursday evening at Binghamton, with a final score of 73-64 untelling of the team's dominance during the middle two quarters of the contest. Siena led by as many as 28 points with just under eight minutes remaining in the fourth quarter, and turned in a 16-0 run to end the first and begin the second quarter of play, while scoring the first nine points of the second half.

Reigning MAAC Rookie of the Year Elisa Mevius picked up where she left off by leading the team with 21 points, three triples, and six steals, while junior Anajah Brown turned in a double-double with 17 points and 13 board, senior Ahniysha Jackson added 12 points, and freshman Alden Yergey went for 11 points in her collegiate debut.

The Green and Gold also scored all 13 fast break points on the night and held a overwhelming 46-16 advantage in points in the paint.

Now 1-0 for the second straight year, the Saints clinched back-to-back 1-0 starts to a season for the first time since the 2002-03 and 2003-04 campaigns, and will look to begin a season 2-0 overall and 2-0 on the road for the first time since the 2014-15 season.

Playing a contest at Dartmouth for the first time since 2005, the Saints have won five of the last six meetings, including in last year's first meeting since 2006 at the UHY Center. The Big Green boasted four players in double-figure scoring, the Saints prevailed thanks to shooting 47.6 percent (10-21) from beyond-the-arc. Mevius led the way with 17 points and five rebounds, while Valencia Fontenelle-Posson went for 16 points, Jackson dropped 12 points, and Teresa Seppala posted ten rebounds.

Siena seeks its first victory in the state of New Hampshire since 2015 (L1) and its first win at Dartmouth since the beforementioned 2005 trip. Head coach Jim Jabir boasts a 3-1 all-time record when facing the Big Green in his 36-year career.

Led by first year head coach Linda Cimino, Dartmouth dropped a 70-52 decision at Bryant to begin its 2023-24 campaign on opening night last Monday. Junior Victoria Page led the Big Green with 11 points, while the team held a 34-31 rebound advantage. Sunday will act as Dartmouth's home opener for the season, with the team looking to improve from a 2-26 record last year. Picked to finish eighth in the Ivy League Preseason Coaches Poll, the Big Green return their top three scorers from last season, including Page, who averaged 10.1 points per-game as a sophomore.
