GREENBURGH, NY – Siena Women's Golf improved by three strokes to end 36-hole action at the St. John's Invitational at Saint Andrew's Golf Club in Greenburgh, New York on Tuesday.
After carding a round of 336 on Monday, the Saints went for +49 333 in the final round to finish in 11
th place with +101, 669.
Sophomore
Jillian Barend (77-88-165) led the way for the Green and Gold by tying for 42
nd, while classmate
Manoela Barcellos (88-79-167) split for 46
th. Junior
Margot Osterman (85-84-169) tied for 51
st, while senior
Emily Nash (88-82-170) improved six strokes to tie for 55
th. Freshman
Mackenzie Whitney rounded out the Saints' five-women competition team in a tie for 63
rd place (86-90-176). Competing as an individual, senior
Isabella Diaz (83-91-174) finished in 62
nd place.
After completing nine regular season events, Siena will now prepare to take part in the 2023 MAAC women's Golf Championships at Disney's Palm Golf Course in Lake Buena Vista, Florida April 21-23.
