GRASONVILLE, MD – Siena Women's Golf improved four strokes to end weekend competition at the JEL Golf Collegiate at Prospect Bay Country Club in Grasonville, Maryland on Sunday.
The Saints shot a two-day, 36-hole total of 660 (332-328) to finish 13
th out of 16 competitors.
Sophomore
Manoela Barcellos stayed in the 70's in both rounds on the par-72, 6,136-yard course to tie for ninth place individually (77-76-153). Freshman
Mackenzie Whitney followed with a score of 167 (87-80) to tie for 59
th, while senior
Emily Nash (85-86-171) placed 75
th.
Sophomore
Jillian Barend (86-86) joined junior
Margot Osterman (84-88) in carding 172 to knot for 76
th, while senior
Isabella Diaz finished 92
nd with a score of 185 (92-93).
Siena will have one final tune-up before the MAAC Championships at the St. John's Invitational in Hastings-on-Hudson, NY April 10-11.
