LAKE BUENA VISTA, FL – Siena Women's Golf concluded its 2022-23 season on encouraging note, rounding out play at the 2023 MAAC Women's Golf Championships on Sunday. The Saints shot a team round of 322 for the second straight day to leap one spot and end the weekend in seventh place at Disney's Palm Golf Course in Lake Buena Vista, Florida.
The Saints shot +108, 972 during the 54-hole event, with the final round allowing them to finish eight strokes ahead of La Salle to move up into seventh. Quinnipiac walked away with the 2023 MAAC Women's Golf Championship.
Sophomore
Manoela Barcellos (84-75-80-239) led the team for the second straight season in postseason action by finishing in 30
th, while freshman
Mackenzie Whitney (78-83-80-241) completed her first MAAC Championship in 32
nd place.
Sophomore
Jillian Barend (84-81-78-243) shot the team's best individual round of the day to move into a tie for 33
rd place, while senior
Isabella Diaz (82-84-84-250) concluded her collegiate career in 37
th. Senior
Emily Nash (88-83-85-256) also wrapped her Siena career in 40
th place.
Siena has now concluded the 2022-23 season and will look forward to competition during the 2023-24 campaign.
