RIVERDALE, NY – Siena Softball officially ended the 2024 regular season with a weekend series finale at Manhattan on Saturday afternoon. The Saints (29-20, 12-11) dropped an 11-0 decision in five innings to the Jaspers (13-37, 10-14) at Gaelic Park.
One day after locking up the team's seventh straight MAAC Tournament berth, the Green and Gold struggled on both sides of the ball, while the Jaspers thrived early. Manhattan used an RBI single and an RBI triple to break out to a 2-0 lead after one inning, and broke open the game with an eight-run frame in the second.
Siena stranded the bases loaded defensively in the fourth, but could not push a runner into scoring position after leaving the bases loaded with Saints in the first.

Jocelyn Ulrich recorded both hits for the visitors, while freshman pitcher
Hailey Francois (1-2) struck out one in one and one-third innings in the circle for the loss. Junior
Kaycie Kennedy took the ball for the next one-third inning, while redshirt-senior
Diana Parker fanned one during the final two and one-third innings,
Siena will officially enter the 2024 MAAC Tournament in Poughkeepsie, New York as the No. 6 seed, and will begin its postseason journey against No. 3 Rider on Wednesday, May 8.
