LOUDONVILLE, NY - Siena Women's Basketball head coach
Terry Primm has announced the addition of
Peppi Lohko to the Saints. The freshman is immediately eligible, and joins the team with each of her four years of NCAA eligibility.
"I am thrilled about adding Peppi to the Siena Sisterhood," said Primm. "She comes from a great program (HBA in Finland) and has been coached very well. It will be a joy to continue her versatility on offense and defense. She is a high-character young lady who fits our culture and positionless basketball philosophy."
Standing at 6-2 from Lahti, Finland, Lohko brings youth national playing experience to Loudonville, having achieved both silver and bronze in the U19 Finnish Championship. She was also a member of the Finland U16, U18, and U20 national teams.
"She understands how passionate we are about Siena and wants to play a significant role in helping us build a championship program," Primm added. "Again, I am thrilled she decided to come to us, and I cannot wait to see her blossom on and off the court."
Throughout her youth career, Lohko averaged a double-double per game - registering 12.6 points and 11.6 boards. In 2023, she posted national team career highs while on the Finland U18 team with 7.4 PPG, 3.9 PPG, and 1.1 APG over seven outings.
