Through nearly two rounds of action of the Sacred Heart Fall Classic Siena Women's Golf will resume play in ninth of 15 teams after shooting +67 Monday from Great River Country Club in Milford, CT. Play was suspended at 6:45 p.m. while every Saint was through at least through the 16th hole of the second round.
The remainder of the second round will resume prior to 8 a.m. Tuesday morning, with the third and final round to follow.
With round two scores not yet complete,
Julia Kret and
Emily Rensch are tied for 22nd out of 75 golfers shooting +14 on the par-72 course. The freshman Rensch shot +5, 77 during her first round, while Kret shot +6. Rensh finished her second round +9, with Kret needing to complete the final two holes entering +8.
Also needing to finish two more holes in the second round,
Mackenzie Whitney is currently +18 after shooting +14 during her first round, and a strong response of +4 over her second through 16 holes.
Emely Kintzel stands at 21-over par through a full two rounds, while
Isabella Silva is +13 through 16 holes in the second round after a disqualification in the first round.
