Freshman
Kaiya Rain Tucker has recorded back-to-back double-doubles, most recently posting 11 points and 10 rebounds at Merrimack on Saturday. Her team-high 10 boards helped Siena total 53 rebounds—the fourth time this season the Saints have surpassed 50. One of those performances came earlier this year against Iona, when Siena grabbed 54 rebounds, still its second-highest total of the season.
Iona enters Thursday at 16-11 overall and 9-8 in the MAAC, sitting a half-game behind the Saints for fifth place while already clinching a MAAC Championship berth. Isabellah Middleton (13.9 PPG) and Zoey Ward (13.1 PPG) lead a Gaels offense that ranks fifth in the league at 59.9 points per game. Defensively, Iona is third in the MAAC, allowing 60.3 points per contest and holding opponents to 28.4% shooting from three-point range—also third in the conference.
Siena holds a 48-34 advantage in the all-time series entering the 83rd meeting between the programs. The Saints have won four of the last five matchups, including the last two in Loudonville, with those four victories coming by an average margin of 15.8 points (all by 11 or more). In the most recent meeting on Jan. 3, 2026, in New Rochelle, Siena earned a 94-80 victory behind
Nicole Melious' first career double-double (19 points, career-high 12 rebounds). The Saints shot 51.5% from the field in that game—at the time their top shooting performance of the season.
Siena remains at home following Thursday's matchup, hosting Fairfield University at 2 p.m. on Saturday, Feb. 21.
