Siena Women's Golf wrapped up its final tune-up before postseason play on Monday, finishing third at the Fairfield Tri-Match held at H. Smith Richardson Golf Course. The Saints posted a team score of +24 (316) on the par-73 layout, trailing host Fairfield (+19) and Quinnipiac (+22).
Siena was paced by a strong showing from
Emely Kintzel, who finished second overall with a +1 round of 74. Kintzel's steady play kept the Saints in contention throughout the day and marked one of her top performances of the spring season.
Julia Kret followed with a solid effort, placing tied for fourth at +3 (76), giving Siena a pair of top-five finishers. The Saints' lineup also featured
Mackenzie Whitney and
Emily Rensch, who each finished tied for 12th at +10, while
Chelsea Woods added a +11 showing.
Isabella Silva rounded out the Siena competitors.
The Saints will next take the course at the MAAC Championships beginning Tuesday, April 21, at Disney's Magnolia Course in Orlando, FL.
