Siena Women's Golf opened play at the 2026 MAAC Championships with a team score of 322 in Tuesday's first round at Disney's Magnolia Course, placing eighth overall in the 10-team field. The Saints sit just three strokes back of a tie for sixth and will look to climb the leaderboard heading into round two.
Sophomore
Julia Kret paced Siena with a 4-over 76, finishing the day in a tie for seventh place individually. Her steady round keeps her within striking distance of the top of the leaderboard heading into the final 36 holes.
Emily Rensch followed with an 8-over 80, while
Mackenzie Whitney carded an 82 (+10).
Emely Kintzel added an 84 (+12), and
Chelsea Woods rounded out the scoring with an 86 (+14) to complete the Saints' lineup.
Quinnipiac leads the team standings after posting a 299 (+11), followed closely by Fairfield (301) and UAlbany (306).
Siena will return to the course for round two on Wednesday, Apr. 22, with tee times beginning at 8:45 a.m. as the Saints aim to make a move up the leaderboard.
