Siena Women's Golf teed off the St. John's Invitational Monday at St. Andrew's Golf Club, completing the opening round with a team score of 346 (+62) to sit 10th in a competitive 12-team field.
 
Leading the way for the Saints, Julia Kret paced the lineup with an opening-round 84 (+13), positioning herself tied for 32nd among the 71-player field. Emily Rensch followed with an 86 (+15), while Chelsea Woods and Emely Kintzel each turned in rounds of 88 (+17). Mackenzie Whitney capped the team scoring with an 89 (+18).
 
Siena will look to climb the leaderboard when play resumes for Tuesday's final round, set for a 9:30 a.m. start.
