Biography
Mary Fletcher begins her second season as the assistant coach with the Siena Women's Golf program. Fletcher joins the staff just four months after graduating from Siena, where she was a four-year member of the golf team.A native of Fayetteville, N.Y., Fletcher graduated in May 2015 with degree in biology.
On the course in 2014-15, Fletcher ranked third on the team with a scoring average of 82. In the 2015 MAAC Tournament, she placed seventh overall. Siena was the only school in the Championships to place three members in the top seven. She posted a season-low score of 77 twice, in the Dartmouth Invitational and the Grand Canyon Women's Spring Invitational in 2014-15.
In the classroom, she was a four-time member of the MAAC Academic Honor Roll and a three-time member of the MAAC All-Academic Team. For four consecutive years, Fletcher was named a Women's Golf Coaches Association All-American Scholar, a distinction given to individuals who meet the stringent criteria of maintaining a 3.50 cumulative grade point average or higher.
