KARBOWSKI ON PLACKE: 'Jenna emerged as an excellent defender in 2008 with renewed confidence starting all 19 games. She has always been technically sound, but really improved her decision making and had a great sophomore season. She has become a fixture in the back with her commitment to the game year round.'
