Biography

GENERAL - An aggressive base runner...Great athlete who can help in a number of different situations...Daughter of Anthony and Maureen Borsella...Chose Siena for the campus and 'overall environment'.

AS A JUNIOR - Made 28 appearances, primarily as a pinch-runner...Scored seven runs on the season...Also made two appearances in the circle, with one start...Had an 0-1 record with a 7.00 ERA.

AS A SOPHOMORE - Made 27 appearances, primarily as a situational pinch runner...Scored seven runs...Was successful in three of four steal attempts.

AS A FRESHMAN - Played in 23 games...Scored six runs and had one stolen base.

BEFORE SIENA - Played three years of softball in high school...All-League and All-Section as a junior and senior... Captain of varsity and junior varsity teams...Named Athlete of the Week as a junior and senior...Won the Diamond 9 Plus 1 Award.

LAJEUNESSE ON BORSELLA - 'Kristen[apos]s skills have improved steadily since her freshman year. She[apos]s become a real asset on the bases for us. She[apos]ll see some time defensively as an outfielder, and her playmaking skills have vastly improved.'
