GENERAL: Team captain this year...Walk-on who competes in the sprint freestyle event...Has developed into a leader on the team, entering her senior year...Has improved greatly in times recorded from last year. 2005-06: Placed 4th in the 100-yard freestyle at Marist (1/14/06) and placed 5th in the same event at Niagara (1/21/06). 2004-05: Placed fourth in the 50-yard freestyle and fifth in the 100-yard freestyle versus Holy Cross (11/3/04). 2003-04: Did not place. BEFORE SIENA: Lettered five years of varsity swimming in the relay and freestyle events at New Hyde Park Memorial. PERSONAL: Born October 4, 1985...The daughter of Anthony and Margaret Delaney...Has a younger brother Peter and a younger sister Mary...A bio/pre-med major...Aspires to attend medical school upon graduation from Siena. BROWN ON DELANEY: 'Cat is our team captain this year and I expect her to lead the team both in and out of the pool.
