LOUDONVILLE, N.Y. - Siena (2-7-0, 0-1-0) defense yields two first half goals in a 2-0 loss in the MAAC opener on the road to St. Peter's (5-5-1, 1-0-0) under overcast skies in Jersey City this afternoon.

Tri-captain Patrick Henry (LaGrangeville, N.Y.) made seven saves between the pipes for the Saints.

Sophomore Jason Laffin fired a pair of shots on goal to lead the Green and Gold. The Hopewell Junction (N.Y.) native was one of three Saints issued a yellow card in a game where five card were issued in all.

Siena was whistled for 18 fouls in the contest.

The Saints and Peahens were even in corner kicks with three each.

The Saints continue their season-long four game road trip with another MAAC battle on Sunday at 10 a.m. against the Manhattan Jaspers. Siena next returns home on October 14 for a league game against Rider.
