Siena College, a NCAA Division I institution and a member of the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference invites applications for the full-time 10 month, Assistant Athletic Trainer position. The Assistant will aid the head athletic trainer in the overall operation of the training room and with the sports medicine care of student-athletes. The Assistant Trainer will be required to work weekends and evening as contests and practices requires. The Assistant will travel as assigned. Duties include, but are not limited to, practice and game coverage, pre-practice treatments, and rehabilitation and prevention of injury programs.
Qualifications: NATA certification and bachelor's degree required. Master's degree and some previous athletic training experience preferred.
