LOUDONVILLE, N.Y. - The annual basketball "Sneak Preview", held in the atrium of the Pepsi Arena in downtown Albany, has been rescheduled for Monday, October 1 at 5:30 p.m.
This year's event will begin with a media press conference at 5:30 (open to the general public) in which the department will unveil its new logo. Athletic Director John D'Argenio will be joined by a representative from New York City based Phoenix Design-the company that developed the logo-to make the announcement.
Also on hand will be Head Basketball Coaches Rob Lanier and Gina Castelli to offer insight on the seasons to come.
The event is open to the general public, and those who may be interested in purchasing season tickets in particular. The Arena will be open for people to enter and view seats that are still available for purchase as season tickets. Members of the Pepsi Arena Box Office will also be on hand for patrons wishing to lock up seats on the spot.
The event, projected to last an hour and a half, will feature entertainment, hors d'oeuvres and a sneak peak at the new features fans can expect at Siena basketball games this season. In addition to the unveiling of the new athletic logo, fans will be the first to see the new video scoreboard upon entering the Arena.
