Kim Colunio, a member of the Siena College Class of 1995, and Paul Wilders, who graduated from Siena in 1996, were each inducted into the College's Sports Hall of Fame on Saturday. The ceremony was the centerpiece of the College's inaugural Alumni Sports Weekend, which attracted more than 100 former athletes to the Loudonville campus for games and festivities.

Colunio played for Gina Castelli's Saints from 1991-1995, ranking nationally in scoring as a senior with 21.4 points per game. A two-time member of the All-MAAC First Team, Colunio currently sits in seventh place on the school's scoring charts with 1,311 points. Her senior year ranks as the fourth most proficient in school history in terms of scoring, as she registered 557 points and for her efforts, she was recognized as an ECAC All-Star. She also ranks seventh on the school charts for single-game scoring, registering 31 points against Loyola as a senior. Colunio, who made the cross-country trip to Loudonville this past weekend, resides in San Clemente, Calif.

Wilders enjoyed a stellar career for the Siena baseball team helping the program achieve regional success and national notoriety. A four-year starter, Wilders captained Siena to its initial conference championship as a junior and helped the team repeat that feat the following season as a senior captain. As a junior. Wilders ranked 21st nationally with a .415 batting average, while establishing program marks for doubles, RBI and walks. Following that season, he competed as a New York State All-Star at Yankee Stadium and went on to perform for Team USA's junior team in Australia that summer. The 1995 Saints amassed 31 victories, the second most in school history (most at the time). Siena played in the NCAA play-in round in each of Wilders' final two seasons, as the MAAC at the time did not have an automatic bid. The third baseman currently ranks in the top-10 in 12 of the school's 15 offensive categories. Wilders has remained in the Capital Region, and currently resides in Ballston Spa.

Both Wilders and Colunio were formally inducted into the Siena College Sports Hall of Fame following a cocktail reception held in the Marcelle Athletic Complex Saturday afternoon. The reception and ceremony capped off a day in which sports alumni and hall of fame members were invited back to the College to participate in Alumni Games and tour the ever-changing Siena campus.

The Siena Hall of Fame was established in 1964 and currently consists of 92 members. The selection process is based on the module used by Major League Baseball, with all student-athletes becoming initially eligible five years after they have graduated from the College. The voting panel, chaired this year by Gary Holle Sr. '77, is made up of athletic administrators, hall of fame members and coaches.
