Cross Country
Both teams were named USTFCCCA Division I All-Academic Teams:

• Women's Team GPA: 3.46
• Men's Team GPA: 3.26

• Sarah Forman was named a College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA) Academic All-District 1 First Team selection.

NCAA Academic Progress Rate
Eight Siena programs earned 2017 Public Recognition Awards from the NCAA for posting Academic Progress Rates in the top-10 percent of their respective sports across all squads:

Field Hockey

• The team was honored by the NFHCA with the 2016 Zag Field Hockey/National Field Hockey Coaches Association (NFHCA) Division I National Academic Team Award. Named to the 2016 Academic Squad were Danielle Degroot, Maggie Liguori, Brittany Onesto, Molly Hagen, Aubrie Bleier, Katelyn McMahon and Briana Muniz. McMahon was also named a Scholar of Distinction.

Women's Soccer

• Michele Tremblay was named a College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA) Academic All-District 1 First Team selection.

Swimming & Diving

• In June 2017, Swimming and Diving team was again named a Collegiate Swimming Coaches Association of America (CSCAA) Scholar All-America Team, boasting an overall team GPA of 3.56.

Women's Golf

• Sara Riso and Marisa Fiorina were tabbed Women's Golf Coaches Association All-American Scholars

Water Polo

• Clare Bryar, Madison Obata, Sarah Abbott and Clary Jackson-Clark were named to the 2017 Association of Collegiate Water Polo Coaches (ACWPC) All-Academic List
