2022-23 (JUNIOR):
  • MAAC All-Academic Team & MAAC Academic Honor Roll member
  • Competed in three cross country events
  • Finished 138th at MAAC Cross Country Championships and 348th at IC4A Cross Country Championships
2021-22 (SOPHOMORE):
  • MAAC All-Academic Team & MAAC Academic Honor Roll member
  • Competed in three cross country and four outdoor track events
  • Ran a personal best in the mile (4:55.67) at the Bison Outdoor Classic on April 15
  • Ran a personal best in the 1,500 (4:33.64) at the Capital District Classic on April 30
2020-21 (FRESHMAN):
  • MAAC Academic Honor Roll member 
  • Did not compete in any events
BEFORE SIENA: 
  • Part of the 2018 & 2019 Class A Section II Cross Country Team Champions
  • Placed 23rd individually at the Class A Section II Cross Country Championships in 2019
  • Named a Times Union First team All-Star in cross country his senior year 
  • Earned Suburban Council All-Star honors his junior and senior seasons
  • Personal bests include 4:27.33 in the 1-mile, 9:43.12 in the 3200m and 15:32 at the Saratoga State Park course 
  • Member of the National Honor Society in high school

  • Son of John & Maureen Spence
  • Has an older sister, Erin '22, who also attended Siena
  • Grandfather, Thomas Murphy, graduated from Siena in 1955
  • Majoring in environmental science 
  • Chose Siena because of the positive atmosphere and small class sizes
