Chelsea Wolf enters her first season as the Saints' Director of Women's Basketball Operations. She joins the Saints after spending the previous season in a similar role at the University of Louisiana.
"We are genuinely lucky to have Chelsea join us at Siena," said head coach Ali Jaques upon Wolf's appointment. "Her background and experience are rare to find and our players and staff will definitely benefit from having her in green and gold."
In her lone season in Lafayette, Wolf was part of a Ragin' Cajuns program which posted a 23-12 overall record and captured the 2015 Women's Basketball Invitational Championship.
Wolf joined the Division I ranks as a graduate assistant coach at LIU Brooklyn for two seasons from 2012-14. She also previously served as an assistant coach at Division III programs Centenary (N.J.) College (2011-12) and Middlesex County (N.J.) College (2009-10). Wolf spent three years as the coach of the Central Jersey Cardinals AAU U11 program and guided her team to a 2012 NJ AAU State Championship and the AAU Nationals.
"I am grateful for the opportunity to join the Siena Women's Basketball family," commented Wolf upon her hiring. "I admire Coach Jaques and the program that she has built and am honored to join her staff."
A native of Pine Brook, N.J., Wolf graduated with her B.A. in Contemporary Art from Ramapo (N.J.) College in 2009 where she was a member of the women's basketball, cross country and track and field teams. Wolf earned her Master's in Media Arts from LIU Brooklyn in 2014.
