Named to the MAAC All-Academic Team
Competed in nine track meets, racing the 800m in all nine appearances and contributing to relay squads
Recorded four top-five finishes
Posted season-best marks of 1:59.22 in the 800m, 8:11.59 in the 4x800 relay and 3:31.35 in the 4x400 relay
Placed third in the 800m (2:03.58) at the Crowell Invitational & Multi on Dec. 6
Helped the 4x800 relay finish second in a season-best 8:11.59 at the Jaylin Rainford Invitational on March 28
Ran a season-best 1:59.22 in the 800m and helped the 4x400 relay place second in 3:34.04 at the Capital District Classic on April 24
Contributed to the 4x400 relay that ran a season-best 3:31.35 at the MAAC Outdoor Track & Field Championships on May 10

2024-25 (FRESHMAN):

Took first place in the 500-meter of the Utica Winter Open (1:07.82) on Jan. 17
Ran a personal best time of 2:01.74 in the 800-meter and placed 26th overall at the MAAC Indoor Track & Field Championships on Feb. 22-23
Clocked in at 51.79 for a personal best time in the 400-meter at the RPI Under the Lights Invite on Apr. 10-11 (placed sixth overall)

BEFORE SIENA:

Ran cross country for seven years as well as indoor and outdoor track & field for six years
Earned four varsity letters with three Suburban Council All-Star awards earned

Son of John and Kimberly Schaffer
Has one brother, Michael
Planning to major in Childhood Education
Spent time as a peer tutor and volunteered at a Pre-K and helped raise money for the Red Cross and the Double H Ranch
Chose Siena because of the track opportunity, closer to home and the great education program
