PERSONAL: Born May 6, 1991 in Poughkeepsie, N.Y....The daughter of David and Kim Whelly...Has an older sister, Ariana, who attends the University of Delaware and a younger brother, Nicholas...Enjoys listening to music, hanging out with friends and traveling...A business major...Chose Siena for the academic program, friendly atmosphere and the field hockey program...Also recruited to play field hockey by Oneonta, Merrimack and Assumption.
WHY I CHOSE SIENA: 'For me, there was every reason to choose Siena field hockey. My official visit was a great experience from start to finish. I felt welcomed by the team, coaches, and Siena community. At the culmination of my visit, I knew that this was the team and college experience I wanted to be part of.'
