AS A JUNIOR: Appeared in 16 games, starting 14...Assisted on the game winning goal at Boston College (9/29).

AS A SOPHOMORE: Started three of nine games.

AS A FRESHMAN: Started four of 15 games...Finished the season with one goal.

BEFORE SIENA: Four year varsity starter at New Hyde Park H.S....An All-Conference selection as a sophomore and junior...Named All-County and earned Exceptional Senior Selection honors his final season...Helped guide New Hyde Park H.S. to back-to-back conference championships (2003 and 2004)...Four year starter for the Met Oval Brooklyn Knights club team...Named to the 2006 All Empire State Games team.

PERSONAL: Born August 14, 1989...The son of Joe and Sonia Tempone...Has an older sister Jennifer who attends Western New England College...An undecided business major...Two cousins play collegiate lacrosse: Brian Tempone (Malloy College) and Evan Von Heyn (UMass)...Chose Siena for its academic programs, athletics and size.
