Katy Lucey joined Siena Softball as a Volunteer Assistant Coach in September 2022. 

“I am looking forward to adding Katy Lucey to the staff,” Head Coach Casey Bump said upon Lucey's appointment. “She is going to bring us coaching depth focusing on our outfielders as well as our catchers. She brings great energy and a focus on player development, and I look forward to working with her.”

No stranger to the Capital Region, Lucey spent eight years as a travel softball head coach from 2013-21, and served as a varsity assistant coach at nearby Rensselaer High School from 2016-17. She also currently provides hitting and catching lessons at Top Level Athletics in North Greenbush, New York.

A graduate of Empire State College with her Bachelor’s in Human Development, Lucey has worked at a New York State Employee for the past 21 years, and currently resides in Wynantskill, NY.
