Trevor DiMauro joined Siena Athletics as an Assistant Athletic Trainer on June 1, 2022.
"We are thrilled to welcome Trevor to the Siena Saints family,” Senior Associate AD / Senior Woman Administrator Angie Jabir said upon DiMauro's appointment. “His experience working with numerous sports as a student at Nebraska and serving as a men's basketball graduate assistant at Missouri Western will add tremendous value to our sports medicine program."
DiMauro came to the Capital Region from Missouri Western State University in Saint Joseph, MO, where he spent the past two years as a Graduate Assistant Athletic Trainer. The primary contact for the Griffons’ Men’s Basketball program, he provided coverage for several other NCAA Division II sports, while providing sports medicine coverage for several youth camps, the Small College Basketball Hall of Fame Tournament, and the 2021 NCAA Division II Men’s Regional Basketball Tournament.
A native of Omaha, Nebraska, DiMauro gained athletic training experience at the NCAA Division I level while a student at the University of Nebraska. He worked with the Cornhuskers’ Men’s Basketball program during his senior year, and the Football team during his junior year, working alongside certified athletic trainers to assist in evaluating, treating, and providing rehabilitation for injuries.
DiMauro earned his B.S. in Athletic Training with minors in Business and Psychology from Nebraska in 2020, and earned his Master of Applied Science in Sport and Fitness Management from Missouri Western in May 2022.
