- Daughter of Jeffrey and Theresa Stowell
- Has a twin sister, Kaylee, who plays soccer at Manhattan, and an older sister, Casey, who plays soccer at UAlbany
- Drew distinction between her and her twin sister Kaylee based upon accessories; Megan wore pink cleats while Kaylee wore a headband
- Majoring in biology with plans to become a doctor
- Chose Siena because it provides academic opportunities that fit her interests and it has a strong and competitive soccer program that will push me to grow as a player
