Former Siena diver Michelle Swanson enters her first year as a volunteer assistant coach for the 2019-20 season. 

A two-year member of the Saints’ swimming & diving team from 2014-16, Swanson spent her junior and senior seasons competing in the one-meter and three-meter diving events. Along with teammate Hailey Beers, Swanson aided the Saints in posting a 7-4 dual meet record during her senior season, highlighted by the team’s first ECAC Championship title in December 2015, where Swanson finished second in the one-meter diving with 212.40 points.

Prior to her time at Siena, Swanson began her collegiate diving career at Division III Cazenovia College in Cazenovia, NY, diving for the Wildcats from 2012-14.

A member of the MAAC All-Academic Team in 2016 and two-year member of the Dean’s List, Swanson earned a bachelor’s degree in accounting from Siena that year and a master’s in accounting in 2017.

Swanson earned certification as a Certified Public Accountant from the New York State of Accountancy in 2019.
