GENERAL: One of three team captains this season...Competes in the butterfly and freestyle events...Has trained hard over the off-season to prepare for the butterfly event in the MAAC finals. 2006-07: Had her strongest overall showing of the season placing first in the 500-yard freestyle event with a time of 5:55.78 and third in the 200 fly at New Hampshire (10/21)...Also recorded a second place finish in the 100 fly versus Vermont (10/14). 2005-06: Placed third in two events, including the 200-yard butterfly relay versus Vermont (10/29/05) and the 200-yard fly versus Wagner and Canisius (11/13/05). 2004-05: Captured first place in the 200-yard freestyle versus Holy Cross (11/3/04)...Placed second in four events, including the 500-yard freestyle versus Buffalo, the 500-yard freestyle versus Vermont and Manhattan, the 100-yard fly versus Holy Cross and the 200-yard Individual Medley at Wagner...Placed third in five events, including the 1000-yard freestyle versus Buffalo (10/23/04) and the dual meet versus Vermont and Manhattan (10/30/04), the 200-yard backstroke versus Holy Cross (11/3/04), the 200-yard butterfly in the dual meet at Niagara/Canisius (11/6/04) and the 200-yard freestyle at Wagner (11/13/04). BEFORE SIENA: Lettered four years of varsity swimming and three years of varsity basketball at East Lake...Competed for Clearwater Aquatic Team year round for nine-straight years. BROWN ON CUMMINGS: 'Jessica will be relied upon for her strong work ethic and leadership to help make this year a successful season.
