Biography
AS A SOPHOMORE:
- Recorded two top-3 finishes at Holy Cross (10/24)
- Earned her top time of the season in the 50 Free against Niagara (11/10) finishing in 27.61 seconds
- Recorded her top time in 100 Free in same match as her top 50 Free time against Niagara (11/10)
- Performed well in the ECAC Championships, recording top 100 Breast time in 1:08.67.
AS A FRESHMAN:
- Swam in almost every event for the Saints
- Fifth-place finisher in the 200 freestyle in the tri-meet against C.W. Post and Long Island (2:06.98)
- Swam to an eighth place finish in the 200 IM against Bryant and Niagara
- Took fifth in the 100 breast at Vermont
- Fourth place finisher in the 200 breast at Holy Cross
BEFORE SIENA:
- Earned four varsity letters at Keene
- A three-time Spirit Award-winner
- Also lettered in field hockey and lacrosse, playing all three sports for four years in high school
- Recipient of the "Unsung Swimmer award"
- Also won the Jean Mosley award
- National Honor Society
PERSONAL:
- Daughter of Francis and Debra Helin
- Has an older sister, Kathryn
- Also recruited by Bryant, Plymouth State, Regis, and SUNY Oswego
