GENERAL: Will again compete for a starting singles and doubles spot...Relentless player who will run down every ball...Never gives up...Made a very successful transition from scholastic tennis to college tennis...Had a big impact as an underclassman, helping the team finish fourth in the MAAC with pivotal league wins in the number six singles spot both years...Owns a 15-10 overall record in two years of singles play.

AT SIENA: 2011-12: Had a breakthrough junior campaign, posting a perfect 6-0 record in MAAC action and winning her last eight matches at No. 6 singles...Marquee win was a come-from-behind three-set (3-6, 6-4 and 7-5) victory over Jackie Lionetta (Loyola)...Posted a 10-5 overall record, including an 8-3 mark in dual action. 2010-11: Enjoyed a successful second season, posting a 7-5 singles record and an 8-10 doubles mark...2009-10:Finished as the only member of the team with a winning overall singles record, posting an 8-5 mark playing No. 6 singles...Went 5-1 in MAAC action and 6-4 in dual matches...Ended 2009-10 with a 4-13 doubles mark (4-8 in dual matches and 2-5 in the MAAC) teaming with Danielle Crill (4-9) and Brittany Fillip (0-4).

BEFORE SIENA: Played No. 1 singles for six years at Marlboro where she also participated on the golf and track teams...Was a four time gold medalist at the Empire State Games (2005-2009)...M.H.A.L. Champion in 2007 and 2008.

PERSONAL: Born October 9, 1991 in Milton, N.Y...Daughter of Charles and Nancy Benfer...Has two younger siblings...Marketing and management major.

If I had $10 million I would: Buy my own house with an indoor pool that has a slide that starts in my bedroom and goes into the pool, and a huge walk-in closet. Then I would buy Siena new tennis courts and finally I would give the rest of the money to American Diabetes Association to help find a cure and my sister would be able to live a normal healthy life.
