Michael Bynon enters his second season with the Green and Gold in the Fall of 2021. He helped lead the Saints to a MAAC Tournament Semifinal appearance in his first season on staff with head coach Vilis Ozols.

Bynon was an assistant at Williams College in Williamstown, Massachusetts for the 2013 & 2014 seasons, helping the Ephs post a 55-10 mark over that time and advance to back-to-back NCAA Division III Tournament berths. A graduate of Carthage College in Kenosha, Wisconsin, Bynon was the starting libero for a team that made three NCAA Final Four appearances and advanced to the NCAA Division III Men's Volleyball Championship in 2012. He received Second Team AVCA All-American honors in 2012 and remains the program's all-time leader in digs. Bynon served as a graduate assistant for the men's and women's teams following graduation and holds a bachelor's degree from Carthage.
