Biography
GENERAL:
- Captain
- Exploded onto the scene late in sophomore season, playing a huge role in the Saints' Championship run
- Extremely aggressive left-hander who locks down the right side and has power jump serve
- Brings international experience and Division I experience having played at Towson as a freshman
- A smart player who is expected to be one of breakthrough stars in the conference
2015:
- MAAC All-Academic Team selection
- Named Siena College Leo Dufort Student Athlete of the Month for November
- Appeared in 28 of 29 matches, starting 16
- Tied season-high with 14 kills three times
- Posted double figures in kills 10 times
- Registered 13 kills and a season-high six blocks at Manhattan (10/31)
- Tallied nine kills, finishing 47.1 percent of her attacks at Quinnipiac (10/28)
2014:
- MAAC All-Tournament Team selection
- American Volleyball Scouting Report (AVCR) Global National Player of the Week (11/24)
- Had double digit kills in all three MAAC Tournament matches, highlighted by 15-2-31 (.419) effort in Championship match win over Marist (11/22). 15 kills marked career high
- Appeared in 33 of 34 matches making 11 starts
- Finished third on the team with 2.24 kills per set
- Reached double figures in nine of last 13 matches (Saints went 11-2)
2013 (AT TOWSON):
- Appeared in five matches
- Recorded a season-high five kills when she earned the start against Navy
- Posted a block versus Michigan State and Navy
BEFORE COLLEGE:
- Attended Zemunska Gimnazija and played for the club team OK Radnicki Beograd
- Helped OK Radnicki eograd earn second place at the National Championship of Serbia three times
- Also earned a bronze medal at the event
- Participated in the European Championship with her club team and played in a tournament in Switzerland
PERSONAL/COMMUNITY:
- Daughter of Goran and Snetana Vasovic and has a younger sister
- Psychology major with career goal of becoming a psychotherapist
- Most memorable experience was her first win in the national championship - her team lost first set and came back to win
