Siena Athletics named Emily Gulitti to its Sports Medicine staff as an Assistant Athletic Trainer in January of 2025.
Gulitti is the primary athletic trainer contact for the Saints’ men’s soccer and men’s lacrosse programs.
"I am excited to bring in Emily to our sports medicine staff,” said Siena Director Student-Athlete Performance and head athletic trainer Rebecca Sanger.
“With her familiarity with the Capital Region, eagerness to start working with our teams, and the variety of experience she has had previous to here; I believe she will have a positive impact on our student athletes at Siena College!”
Previously, Gulitti served as the athletic trainer for the Schenectady School District and provided medical care for all practices and games for the football, soccer, tennis, cross country and volleyball teams. In addition, Gulitti was also an athletic trainer at the College of Saint Rose, providing treatment to volleyball, men’s basketball, and women’s lacrosse teams.
“The opportunity to be back in collegiate athletics and working with college athletes were the reasons I was interested in the position,” said Gulitti. “I look forward to working with the athletic trainers and providing care for the athletes.”
Prior to that, she served as an athletic trainer for Troy High School and took directive to order all medical materials for the school year that included tape, first aid supplies and therapeutic modalities.
Gulitti holds a Master’s of Science degree in athletic training from Plymouth State University in New Hampshire and also is a graduate of the State University of New York at Potsdam with a B.S. in Exercise Science and a minor in community health.
She currently resides in Troy with her two cats, Suna and Rosie.
