Additional duties include assisting with registration, coordinating study hall and tutoring, collaborating with other departments and managing the S.A.I.N.T.S. Life Skills program.

“We are excited to welcome Megan to the Athletic Department as our new Assistant Advisor for Student-Athlete Development,” said Siena Assistant Athletic Director for Advising Anthony Pelliccia ’17.

“Her proven commitment to academic and athletic excellence, along with her diverse background and transferable skills, will allow her to make an immediate and meaningful impact. I am confident that her contributions will strengthen the S.A.I.N.T.S. Office as we continue to enhance the student-athlete experience and Build Better Saints."

Previously, Daviero served as a senior counselor for Travel for Teens and supervised groups of 24 teenagers through various countries throughout Europe. Additionally, she was an assistant outdoor track and field coach at the Niskayuna Central School District, a substitute teacher for Capital Region BOCES and a conversation assistant for CEIP Marie Curie in Sevilla, Spain to plan weekly English-based lessons and activities to enhance the schools’ existing bilingual curriculum.  While in Spain, Daviero was also a coach who instructed weekly bilingual soccer sessions.

“I am thrilled to join the Siena community as the Assistant Advisor for Student Athlete Development,” Daviero said.

“As a Capital Region native, the reputation of Siena precedes it, and having the opportunity to work for and represent such an institution is a privilege. I am looking forward to working alongside this incredible group of student-athletes and I am committed to providing them the support and resources they need to thrive in the classroom, their sports and professional lives beyond Siena. I would like to thank John D’Argenio, Andrew Santandera, Anthony Pelliccia and the hiring committee for this opportunity. Go Saints!”
